The Search for New Ideas

In January 2012 the British Council asked the architecture profession to suggest places and subjects for research that could bring new ways of thinking about architecture to the UK. 118 proposals were received and 10 teams were then selected by the British Pavilion advisory panel. During April 2012 the architectural teams travelled to destinations around the world. The ideas and information they gathered are presented within the Research Emporium of the exhibition.
